The Galactic Prison System has shut down cryostasis and unfrozen all its inmates – bad news for conman Johnny Swift who’s been sleeping off all his sentences up until now.

Instead, he and fellow inmates, Natalie and Brad, are tasked by the System’s rehabilitation program with reclaiming one of its “project planets” from bandits and warlords. It’s a job that has claimed the lives of former prisoners both literally and figuratively, but Johnny’s got plans to survive his way to freedom.
